  • Tension clamp performance
    Tension clamp is one of the most commonly used power line fittings. There are two kinds of cable tension clamp and wire tension clamp that are commonly used. Tension clamp is mainly used for corner, joint and terminal connection, is a fixed wire to withstand the tension of the wire and hang the wire on the tension string group or pole on the gold product. Tension clamps are roughly divided into two categories according to their structure and installation conditions:1. The tension clamp can withstand all the tension of the wire or lightning rod, and the clamping force of the wire clamp should be at least 90 times the rated tension of the wire or lightning rod to be installed, but it is not used as a conductor. This type of wire clamp can also be removed after the wire is installed and used for other purposes. This type of wire clamp has a bolt type tension clamp and a wedge type tension clamp, etc.2. In addition to withstanding all the tension of the wire or lightning rod, the tension clamp acts as a conductor. Therefore, this type of wire clamp cannot be removed after installation, so it is also called a wire clamp. Because it is a conductor, the installation of the wire clamp must comply with the provisions of the installation work procedures. The main function of the tension clamp is connection, protection and fixation.

  • The open fuse has a simple design.
    Fuses can be divided into high-voltage fuses and low-voltage fuses according to the voltage used. According to the object of protection, it can be divided into fuses for the protection of transformers and general electrical equipment, fuses for the protection of voltage transformers, fuses for the protection of power capacitors, fuses for the protection of semiconductor components, fuses for the protection of motors and fuses for the protection of household appliances, fuses, etc. According to the structure, they can be divided into open-type fuses, semi-closed type fuses, tubular type fuses and spray type fuses. The open fuse has a simple structure, the melt is fully in contact with the air, and is supported by a porcelain column without support, which is suitable for outdoor use under low voltage. When the current is interrupted, a strong sound and light are generated in the atmosphere. The semi-closed fuse fuse is mounted on a porcelain frame and inserted into a porcelain box with metal sockets at both ends, which is suitable for indoor use with low voltage. When the current is disconnected, the generated sound and light are blocked by the porcelain box. The fuse tube melt is contained in the fuse body. Then connect it to the stand or connect it directly to the circuit for use. The fuse link is a completely sealed insulating tube with metal caps or contact plates at both ends. If the insulating tube of this fuse is filled with quartz sand, it will have the effect of limiting the current when breaking the current, which can greatly improve the breaking capacity, so it is also called a high breaking capacity fuse. If the tube is evacuated, it is called a vacuum fuse. If the tube is filled with SF6 gas, it is called an SF6 fuse, and its purpose is to improve the arc quenching performance. Since quartz sand, vacuum and SF6 gas have good insulating properties, this fuse is suitable not only for low voltage but also for high voltage. Jet fuses contain a melt in an insulating tube made of solid gas-forming material. The solid gas-forming material can be made of electrical anti-white cardboard or plexiglass. When the short-circuit current passes through the melt, the melt immediately melts to form an arc, and the high-temperature arc causes the solid gas-forming material to rapidly decompose to form a large amount of high-pressure gas, so that the ionized gas is ejected from both ends of the arc tube, emitting a strong sound and light. And when the alternating current crosses zero, the arc is extinguished and the current is interrupted. The insulating tube is usually mounted on an insulating bracket to form the entire fuse. Sometimes the upper end of the insulating tube is made movable, and after the current is disconnected, it is disconnected and discarded. This type of jet fuse is commonly known as a drop fuse. Generally suitable for outdoor use where the voltage is higher than 6 kV. In addition, fuses can be divided into general-purpose fuses, backup fuses and full-range fuses according to the breaking current range. The breaking current range of general-purpose fuses refers to the range from the overload current of more than 1.6-2 times the rated current to the maximum breaking current. These fuses are mainly used to protect power transformers and general electrical equipment. The breaking current range of backup fuses refers to the range from the overload current of 4-7 times the rated current to the maximum breaking current. This fuse is often used in series with a contactor. When the overload current is less than 4-7 times the rated current, the contactor is used to realize the breaking protection. It is mainly used to protect the motor.

  • What should you pay attention to when installing UT cable clamp?
    There are several points to pay attention to when installing UT cable clamps:1. Apply grease to the threads before installation.2. There should be no obvious loose strands in the bent part of the rope. The broken end of the rope should be securely fastened to the main rope. The length of the tail rope protruding at the clamp should be three to five centimeters. After turning back, the tail rope should be securely tied to the main rope.3. The long end of the tying wire should have fifteen turns and the short end should have five turns. The tail wire of the tying wire should be twisted and tied firmly. After installing the nut on the UT type wire clamp, the protruding length of the screw thread should be one third of the total thread length. After tightening, the double nuts of the UT type wire clamp are tightened together.6. When using double clamps and connecting plates for the same group of cables, the direction of the ends should be the same.
